With 10 years of experience, JLD Mapping Services specializes in creating maps and figures utilizing ESRI’s ArcMap GIS.
As opposed to AutoCAD, GIS displays data as it actually exists on Earth’s surface. This is why government organizations,
such as the NJDEP, are requiring GIS compatible deliverables along with the submission of technical documents.
Jennifer Diefenderfer of JLD Mapping Services is a freelance GIS professional, which means I can be utilized on an as needed basis rather than be hired fulltime. I offer my mapping services at a reasonable hourly rate and will provide to you a quote and proposal prior to the start of any work.
Below is a general list of mapping services I provide.

Importing CAD drawings for use as basemaps

Developing site plans by drawing key features from Google Earth aerial images

Plotting data points, including sample and well locations, from site specific and/or GPS plotted points

Utilizing and displaying already produced shapefiles to show relationships with property/site

Creating and submitting NJDEP required metadata and shapefiles

Developing the following figure types: topographic maps, site plans, sample location maps, groundwater flow maps, isopleth/contour maps, Thiessen polygons, and much more!
